The Associate Engineer is responsible for ensuring the efficient execution of welding processes within a pipeline construction environment. The candidate will also be responsible for examining, designing, and evaluating welds, planning, and documenting welding operations using relevant codes, drawings, or contracts. The Associate Engineer will play a pivotal role in the integrity of a vast number of pipelines that require welds and will assist other engineers in developing of welding manuals, procedures, specifications, and bulletins to ensure conformation to the current federal, state, and local regulations.
The Associate Engineer may be assigned to work under the supervision of a Team Leader, such as an Engineer or a Senior Engineer.
Requirements
Master's Degree in Welding Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering or related technical field and 2 years of full-time work experience in engineering, construction, or other operations area Bachelor's Degree in Welding Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering or related technical field and 2 years of full-time work experience in engineering, construction or other operations area.
